EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy helps individuals process and heal from traumas big and small. Generally, EMDR will yield more rapid results than traditional talk therapy. EMDR uses eye movements in tapping to help your brain rework distressing experiences, and allows clients to reframe, distressing memories and reduce their emotional charge.

I’m Keley Heckman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience. I'm a Certified EMDR therapist using IFS and somatic approaches to help people heal from trauma, anxiety, and burnout. Before private practice, I worked as a psychiatric first responder, helping people in crisis alongside law enforcement. I’ve seen firsthand how unresolved trauma impacts every aspect of life—and I know healing is possible because I’ve been through it myself. After surviving a mass shooting, I used EMDR therapy to reclaim my own sense of safety and balance. Now, I help others do the same.
In my private practice, I work with professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or held back by past experiences.
